Hicky & Kalo are a DJ and producer duo born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Both are classically trained musicians and hold diplomas in electronic music from the University of Montreal. They have built a stellar reputation for their distinctive sound, commitment to the electronic music scene, and deep melodic grooves. As residents of the renowned Stereo Montreal club and founders of the rising imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records, the duo has cemented their position at the forefront of the global underground melodic scene. Their productions have garnered recognition on prestigious labels such as Hernán Cattáneo’s Sudbeat Music, When We Dip’s XYZ, and Cid Inc’s Replug Records, as well as their own Plaisirs Sonores. Their deep, melodic sounds have been remixed by celebrated artists, including Rodriguez Jr., Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, Soul Button, Makebo, and Karmon. On Plaisirs Sonores Records, Hicky & Kalo have signed notable artists such as Hernán Cattáneo, Rodriguez Jr., Nick Warren, Armen Miran, Soul Button, Cid Inc., Budakid, Sahar Z, Julian Wassermann, Petar Dundov, Dmitry Molosh, and many more. Most recently, they achieved their first Progressive House Beatport #1 with "Voyage", a collaboration with Hernán Cattáneo released at the end of 2023 on their label. Hicky & Kalo continue to shape the future of melodic electronic music, blending innovation with timeless grooves.
