Zeds Dead are a JUNO-nominated electronic duo from Toronto, Canada, known as pioneers of the modern North American bass scene. Formed in 2009 by Dylan “DC” Mamid and Zachary “Hooks” Rapp-Rovan, they’ve built a genre-defying sound that blends dubstep, drum & bass, house, and hip-hop influences. With hundreds of millions of streams, charting hits, and performances at major festivals like Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, and Lollapalooza, Zeds Dead have become one of the most influential acts in global dance music. Their acclaimed debut album Northern Lights (2016) featured collaborations with Diplo, Pusha T, and Rivers Cuomo, cementing their status as innovators. Beyond their music, they founded Deadbeats Records, a leading independent label and event brand that has launched talents like REZZ, Subtronics, and PEEKABOO. Through Deadbeats tours, festival takeovers, and their annual Dead Rocks shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, they’ve created a thriving global community around their sound.
