Igloofest Québec – Accessibility Information

Igloofest Québec is an event accessible to individuals with limited mobility.

Igloofest Québec is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all festival-goers. Below are the measures in place to ensure accessibility for individuals with restricted physical abilities:

Accessible Site and Facilities

To access the site, individuals with limited mobility are invited to enter through the VIP archway. This entrance is approximately 120 meters from the western entrance drop-off zone of the Vidéotron Centre, near parking lot P1. The route is designed to be fully accessible, with no immediate obstacles such as curbs, stairs, inclines, or other barriers that may hinder access.

Parking and Transportation

A total of 85 designated accessible parking spaces are available near the event site. The closest parking lots to the venue are P1 and P6.

  • Parking Lot P1: 22 accessible spaces. The closest space to the VIP archway is 150 meters away, and the farthest space is 230 meters away.
  • Parking Lot P3: 6 accessible spaces.
  • Parking Lot P4: 6 accessible spaces.
  • Parking Lot P6: 10 accessible spaces. The closest space to the VIP archway is 110 meters away, and the farthest space is 140 meters away.
  • Parking Lot P7: 3 accessible spaces.
  • Parking Lot P8: 22 accessible spaces.
  • Parking Lot P9: 8 accessible spaces.
  • Parking Lot P10: 8 accessible spaces.

We also recommend using public transportation provided by the City of Québec. The event is accessible via the Métrobus 802. The "Centre de Foires" stop is wheelchair-accessible and is located 230 meters from the VIP archway.

Dedicated Platform

The VIP Solotech platform is available to provide a clear, unobstructed view of the main stage. This platform is equipped to offer quick and easy access for individuals using wheelchairs.

Accessible Restrooms

Adapted sanitary facilities are located near the Solotech platform.

Special Rate

Individuals with restricted mobility and their companions receive the VIP experience at the general admission price.
